Sometimes you only need a small change in a PDF: add a note, fill a blank space, or correct a short line of text.

Edit text in a PDF (step by step)

  1. Open PDF Text Editor.
  2. Upload your PDF.
  3. Click where you want to add text.
  4. Type your text and adjust size or style if needed.
  5. Export and download the updated PDF.

Tips for a clean result

  • Use a font size that matches the original document.
  • Keep text inside margins so it does not get cut when printed.
  • If you are filling a form, zoom in to align text with the field.

When a text editor will not work well

  • If the PDF is a scan (it is basically an image), editing existing text is hard. You can still add text on top.
  • If you need heavy layout changes, you may need a full document editor.
